About the Seminar
Cleaning of the pipelines by pigging and chemicals is a common practice in upstream as well as downstream for flow assurance, commissioning, inspection, product change, in-service-operations viz. flushing of settled water, solid/debris/sludge removal, demolishing bacterial colonies, corrosion mitigation, etc. There are though good guidelines for this operation, yet operators encounter difficulties on several occasions. There is always an opportunity to learn from each other’s experiences. This seminar invites the presentation of papers on field case studies of cleaning pigging or innovative solutions developed through research. Papers can include case studies on problems encountered and solutions developed during various types of cleaning pigging operations. The participants in the seminar will be able to learn from the experience of the industry and apply the same at their workplace, thus saving time, money, and energy in evolving their own solution.
All the registered participants will get proceedings of the seminar.
